Opening bets
Every hand starts with two equal bets: the Ante and the Blind, from €5 to €50 each. You can add the Trips side bet, from €5 to €1,000. The Jackpot bet, a fixed €5, is optional too.
How a hand plays
Before the flop
You see your two cards. Bet 4× or 3× your Ante on the Play spot, or check.
On the flop
Three shared cards are turned over. If you checked, bet 2× your Ante or check again.
At the river
The last two shared cards are turned over. If you haven’t bet yet, bet 1× your Ante or fold: you then lose the Ante and the Blind.
Showdown
The dealer turns over their cards. Each side keeps the best five-card hand from their two cards and the five shared cards.
You bet on the Play spot only once per hand: the earlier you bet, the bigger the bet.
Who wins what
The dealer qualifies with a pair or better.
- Play: pays 1 to 1 if you beat the dealer, pushes on a tie, loses otherwise.
- Ante: pushes if the dealer doesn’t qualify. If the dealer qualifies, it pays 1 to 1 when you win, pushes on a tie and loses when you lose.
- Blind: pays by the table below if you win with a straight or better, pushes if you win with a lower hand or tie, loses if you lose.
| Hand | Pays |
|---|---|
| Royal flush | 500 to 1 |
| Straight flush | 50 to 1 |
| Four of a kind | 10 to 1 |
| Full house | 3 to 1 |
| Flush | 3 to 2 |
| Straight | 1 to 1 |
| Any other winning hand | Push |
The Trips bet
Trips is judged on your final seven-card hand: it pays on three of a kind or better, whatever the dealer holds, even if you fold at the river. You place it with your Ante, from €5 to €1,000.
| Hand | Pays |
|---|---|
| Royal flush | 50 to 1 |
| Straight flush | 40 to 1 |
| Four of a kind | 30 to 1 |
| Full house | 8 to 1 |
| Flush | 7 to 1 |
| Straight | 4 to 1 |
| Three of a kind | 3 to 1 |
The progressive jackpot
The Jackpot bet, a fixed €5, can be added to any hand. It is settled on the flop, on your two cards and the three flop cards. Every Jackpot bet adds €3.50 to the meter, which all players on the site share.
A royal flush wins the whole jackpot, which then starts again at €100,000. A straight flush wins 10% of it; the meter keeps the rest and never drops below €100,000.
| Hand | Pays |
|---|---|
| Royal flush | 100% of the jackpot |
| Straight flush | 10% of the jackpot |
| Four of a kind | 60 to 1 |
| Full house | 10 to 1 |
Jackpot when this page loaded: €103,141.50.
A simple strategy
These guidelines, very close to optimal play, are the ones the “Show best play” option shows at the table.
- Before the flop, bet 4× with a pair of 3s or better, any ace, a king with any suited card or a 5 or better, a queen with a suited 6 or better or an 8 or better, a jack with a suited 8 or better or a 10. Check everything else, pocket 2s included.
- On the flop, bet 2× with two pair or better that isn’t all on the board, a pair that uses one of your cards (except pocket 2s), or four to a flush with a 10 or better of that suit in your hand.
- At the river, bet 1× or fold depending on how many dealer hands beat you. The “Show best play” option does that exact count for you.
With optimal play, the house edge is 2.18% of the Ante, or 0.53% of all the money bet.
Return to player
Return to player (RTP) is the share of the money bet that comes back to players over the long run, stake included.
| Bet | Return to player | Method |
|---|---|---|
| Ante, Blind and Play | 99.47% | exact count, optimal play |
| Trips | 96.50% | exact count |
| Jackpot | 76.13% | exact count, over the long run |
